Meet Adorable Eve

Eve – one of my newest, and most well-behaved models yet! That’s right – my latest little newborn photography bub. And such a gorgeous one at that!

Eve has come into this world to an amazing a loving family, with her older brother Will and doting parents too! Eve was very well behaved for us – allowing us to capture some special memories with a hand-knitted family blanket that is working its way through the generations. ‘Made with Love, From Nanny’. It’s amazing to be helping to capture moments that will go on through the generations in many years to come.

We were also able to capture some gorgeous family photos – not something I often do on a newborn shoot – but since we were able to work our way through the essential newborn photos rather quickly, we had plenty of time for posing and playing with big brother Will and some family cuddles too.

I hope you enjoy browsing these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.

Newborn Photography

Newborn photography is something special and magical. You’re not just taking a few photos of ‘another person’ for the sake of a memory. You’re capturing the innocence, the peacefulness and the raw beauty of a baby in it’s first days of life. We all know that babies change ever so quickly. That’s why capturing their photos as early as possible is essential if you want to remember those precious early days.

When we do a newborn photoshoot – we generally like to work with the babies from birth – up to 3 weeks of age. After this stage, babies tend to be more alert and more capable of wriggling out of the cute little poses we mold them into! Having said that – we’ve worked with a few babies older than that and have still had amazing outcomes. Of course – from time to time, we’ll get a baby who’s less than 3 weeks old and still seems quite capable of moving themselves out of position. After all – they have their own personalities from the day they’re born – and some of them just like to let us know they have one!

If you’re thinking about newborn photography for your baby, or if you know a friend who is expecting, get in touch with us to find out a bit about how we work with newborns to capture those beautiful bonding moments. Please – don’t be worried if your baby has a few blemishes – we have some techniques up our sleeves to make them disappear!
